Jack Wiesman and Carl Soloman first started having breakfast together about ten years ago at various places in Lake Las Vegas.  We started out at Harry’s which was a CAFE  in the Montelago Casino.  We then began promoting it amongst our friends and it began to grow when people were in town, or shrink when people were out of town. Sometimes we would have 5 or 6, and sometimes none,  depending upon who was available.  We took the group to Reflection Bay Club House, The Hilton, The Westin,  and to the Village,  before settling in at where we are now. The women have their groups and their get-togethers, so this was a great idea for us men.  At various times we may have as many as 18 to 22 people in attendance  Over the years,  everyone has really enjoyed getting together and sharing thoughts and ideas. Over time we have had a couple of guest speakers on topics dear to our hearts, like Medicare Insurance LOL!!!! 

 

We never wanted this to grow in numbers, as some of the women’s get-togethers are, and that is why we are consistent with the idea that our current members “invite” future members. We want to keep it as a smaller intimate type gathering.
